How scalable is SA-FMS
SA-FMS is currently being used by large (300+ branches) and small (4 branches) clients alike. The highly scalable three tier engine allows the SA-FMS suite to be accessed by branches using a broadband internet connection. Theoretically up to 5000 concurrent users can access SA-FMS. With the addition of multiple application servers, the ERP solution for logistics can support 24 x 7 operations across geographic location.

Online / offline data connectivity mode
SA-FMS allows branches to operate in an offline / online mode based on the availability of data bandwidth. If connectivity is unavailable, the system would resort to local database and subsequently perform a synchronisation with the head office information system.

SMS Alerts for consignment tracking
With the integration of Smsbenefit, the two way SMS engine, customers can be provided with SMS alerts on the status of consignments booked, dispatched, in transit and delivered.
